The Secretariat is provided by the Director-General of the Organization, as Secretary of the Council:

• To organise the Sessions of the Council, the meetings of its subordinate bodies (SPC and FC), advisory bodies (Audit Committee (AC), TREF and ECFA) and working groups.
• To give administrative assistance to the President of Council and the Chairs of the different Committees and their members.
• To co-ordinate the preparation and distribution of the committee documents.
